What Are Aliens Project
In our class, we have started a project where we have 20% of class time, or every Monday, to research a topic that we are interested in. My partner and I have decided to research how aliens could be adapted to survive on different planets and moons. Our goal is to examine these planets and determine what, if any, life is there, and how the different species may interact. Every week, we will look at the physical features of different planets, and compare them to locations on Earth and the species that live in those locations. The first step will be to look at planets in our solar system, like Mars and Jupiter's moon Europa, which are suspected to either have life or once have had life on them. We hope you enjoy our project, and continue to follow our progress.

This is a really interesting way to speculate about possible ecosystems. Maybe you should investigate what life would be like on a flat planet.
ReplyDeleteI also think this would be a great way to investigate and teach people about ecosystems and the ways things interact. You could use it to get young children interested in environmental science by introducing it as astrobiology.
Well, based on your theories that you have suggested in Spanish class, it wouldn't be too hard to figure out what life on a flat planet would be like.
DeleteYou guys have a very unique idea! Speaking of aliens, have you guys heard of the ancient astronaut hypothesis? It is a very interesting theory and I recommend you guys to look at it.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea and has been a huge question in this world. However, how does your approach differ to ones that scientists have already taken?
ReplyDeleteWill you research the possible alien life there, or research the conditions, then hypothesize the adaptions they have and what they would look like?
