What Are Aliens Project Update #2

After a lack of information, confusing sources, and many math mistakes, we finally overcame our first roadblock: calculating radiation and finding the limit for surviving radiation. Life on Mars is a lot more complicated that I thought. We also began more research on the moon Europa, and started hypothesizing what life on those places might be like. We didn't get too much else done, mostly because of the major obstacle of radiation, so this update is going to be short. We hope you continue to follow our progress.

  1. I think focusing on Europa would be a great idea. It's icy sheet would protect any life in the hypothetical subsurface ocean, so it wouldn't necessarily need an atmosphere. Will you be making planetary models or models of possible organisms? I think a non-spherical model (something flat like the cross-section of a plate maybe) would work best for showing Europa's layers and possible environments.

    1. If we made a model, we would try to represent the entire planet with it, so we would probably make it round to represent the planet's roundness.
